    Aircraft Apron Intelligent Monitoring System

The aircraft-position intelligent monitoring system (also known as the apron intelligent monitoring system) is an important component of the airport's smart apron system. By leveraging machine learning and video analytics technologies, this system can extract real-time key time-point information about flight support processes and operational data from the vast amount of video surveillance data. Its core function is to identify operational safety risks and pinpoint the timing of critical process nodes, making it a pivotal subsystem that underpins the realization of an intelligent airport apron system.

The system is designed with the principles of "comprehensive supervision, standardized transparency, and data visualization." Relying on airport flight support workflows and intelligent apron information resources, it establishes a new model for supervising support operations, achieving closed-loop management characterized by "intelligent identification of support operation nodes, intelligent early warning of non-compliant operations, timely data推送 by the system, and comprehensive analysis and presentation of operational statistics." The system can precisely identify critical time points in the flight support process and promptly, accurately, and fully automatically transmit data from each support node to the airport's smart apron management system for storage, visual display, and event retrospective analysis. This eliminates data omissions, data errors, and data delays that might arise from manual entry, significantly reducing labor costs associated with data acquisition.

The aircraft stand intelligent monitoring system is positioned as the “edge intelligence core” and “central hub for safety management” of the smart apron. The system adopts an industrial network architecture to connect a variety of aircraft stand cameras, enabling video acquisition and processing, and thus achieving operational safety management, process node control, and coordinated support for aircraft stand occupancy assurance. In terms of safety, the system adheres to aviation area safety operation standards and leverages advanced object detection algorithms to automatically alert on violations involving personnel, vehicles, and equipment operating in designated areas. Meanwhile, the system’s modules can record the entire process of detected violations in video form, enabling closed-loop management that ensures visibility before incidents occur, controllability during incidents, and traceability afterward. The system supports recognition of events or behaviors including, but not limited to: airside personnel conducting airworthiness inspections, wearing reflective clothing, passengers leaving their aircraft stands, warnings for crossing aircraft stands or entering taxiways or runways, intrusion into red-line zones, and improper placement of reflective cones.
